uThe College of Engineering and Applied Sciences invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the associate and full professor levels for the new Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME). Specific areas of interest include: biomaterials and tissue engineering, molecular engineering and nanomedicine, cellular engineering and regenerative medicine, biomedical imaging, computational and systems biology, bioenergy and synthetic biology.
We will hold a reception during the annual conference of BMES.
Time: October 25th, 2012, 6:30pm-9:30pm;
Location: Room Olympic A, Atlanta Marriott Downtown, 160 Spring Street NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30303.
uThe College also invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in: materials science and engineering, quantum electronics and optical engineering, energy science and engineering, as well as interdisciplinary research areas.
uApplicants must have earned a PhD or MD degree in biomedical engineering or a related field, preferably with postdoctoral research experience. The successful candidates are expected to conduct independent scholarly research, obtain external funding, and engage in teaching and public service duties.
uPersonal and working conditions:
Start-up Funds: 2 to 5 million RMB; Annual Salary: 160 to 400 k RMB; Lab. Space: 100 to 150 m2, Housing: 120 to140 m2
