Profile: Yao Yingfang, born in July 1981 in Yangzhou, Jiangsu. He received his Ph.D. in engineering in December 2011 from North Carolina State University, USA. Yao is at present an associate professor of Nanjing University and studies solar energy related photocatalytic and electrocatalytic substances as well as in the design, preparation, and reaction mechanisms and the application basis of materials and systems functioning for energy conversion. His research interest lies in the following:
Yao has published over 45 SCI papers in Advanced Materials, Advanced Energy Materials, Energy Environment Science, Nano Energy, Chemistry Communications, Electrochemistry Communication, and ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, with over 1,100 citations and a H-index of 19, and has co-published an academic book and has also led a number of state or provincial research projects.
